The Knit Dress, Chunky Knits, Winter Cardigans
This season the knit dress has been extremely popular and it is obvious why. With this style you can dress it up or down depending on your mood and the occasion. The look comes in many different shapes and colours, although the darker shades are of course more flattering.
Chunkier cardigan versions are available, as are fine knit dresses just below the knee rising to mini level. With this look it is more acceptable to go for the shorter length as the woollen material stops it looking trashy. Team your knit dress with boots for the weekend or try flats at work. Either way thick tights are a must to keep the cold at bay and also to show off your silhouette that may be otherwise hidden under the dress.
Knit Dresses and Cardigans
Choose a knit dress that has a scoop or V-neck if you are larger on top as this will flatter a large cleavage. If you have an hourglass figure then team yours with a belt and select a fitted one with a high neck if you have a petite or athletic shape. Those who have an apple shaped figure can still wear this style, wear yours underneath a long shirt or cardigan undone to create a line down the centre of the body and you are set to go.
With chunkier knits, make sure you keep the rest of your outfit fitted close to the body to avoid looking shapeless and you have a look that will take you well into spring.
This Knit Dress is ideal for those with a small bust. Slender pear shapes and those with an athletic figure would suit this style.
